It's a pity jp you didn't take before and after pics. I also have a side scripted gahendra which is very accurate to shoot with lee cast bullets but trigger pull is also a tad heavy

if you want a lighter trigger pull , take a hack saw blade and make a new trigger return spring almost like the original . put a little more bend in it , but it will work just made a new one for one...
